The OpenMP API is the parallel programming language for on-node parallelism using multi-threading and heterogeneous programming, e.g., for GPUs. In this talk, we will highlight the key additions that have been made for the OpenMP API specification 5.1 and how they improve key features of the previous OpenMP API specification versions 4.5 and 5.0.
